About Jessica

Jessica Abbe is a writer and producer whose documentary credits include Standing on Sacred Ground, In the Light of Reverence, San Francisco in the 1970s, and Angle of Inspiration. Early in her career, she interviewed iconic activist and author Edward Abbey, and documented Earth First! environmental actions. She produced the top-rated Bay Area Backroads with Jerry Graham at KRON-TV. Originally from Shasta County, Abbe lives in Berkeley, California, with her husband and filmmaking partner, Toby McLeod. Some Greater Awakening is her first novel.
